Right, pardon the picture. A fruity Irish, the best sort of Irish, but carrying a fair amount of weight around its middle. Clear mineral oils, wintergreen, hot slate and touches of chlorophyll, all blending into a supple but tight body. The citric fruit is aromatic and brightly tinged with comely orange and pinks, that said it’s just not quite bursting yet. Its early summer in the garden, and the best is yet to come. 91 pts
