Brings to mind the charred aspects of a fire, the charred wood, ash, dumped garden clippings, but also a burnt cream in blackened pans and some very Springbank-esque overripe fruit. All good so far. Black engine oil and sooty exhaust. Bitter black tea and farm sheds. A surprising amount of oak tannins and its all wham bam. Not much subtlety here, nor is it needed, but this chewed pencil effect is getting a bit much. 87 pts
