So much whisky, so little time | Singapore | Tasting Notes

Loch Lomond (Inchmurrin) 29 yo 1974 / 2003 Cadenhead 54.4%

Certainly some little metallic and lubricant touches, like an old sewing machine complete with old piece of white chalk in a corner, makes this whisky a reminder of older but more charming times. Plenty of dry dusty spices, cloves, black pepper and licorice while a bunch of fruity notes provide happy colour to the whole. Its age plus good wood speaking. Now a wonderfully citric orange oil, dried mango, tinned pineapple. Bang on point. 89 pts
