Remarkably vivid notwithstanding the long years and bottle strength. Branchy and resinous with conifers and fresh as spring air, crunchy dried leaves underfoot. A sense of the highlands perhaps. Wisp of smoke, wintergreen coolness and mustard leaf. Dried limes and shriveled green apples. A serious surprise showing much charm though a little weaker on the tongue. Who can complain? 87 pts
