Whistle clean malt whisky, full of youthful vigor yet to be reined in but showing good development with warm butter, toast, white sugar caramelizing in a pot, ginger and chili in a vin blanc sauce. Right rather hot. Some minerals are showing, rye and sharp lemon gummies. Powerful stuff, young but ready, could have gone another 10 years in the cask. 85 pts
