I will never stop carrying the flag for these Irish malts 1987 – 1991, And this one gives no reason to reconsider. Again a wondrously fruity malt, with overtones of mango, apricot, passionfruit, lime sherbet. Light and supple, yet laden with enough zing from citrus zests and green fruit juice to cut through any meal. The best examples of these were aromatic, sharp, slightly mineral and without grassiness – well maybe here a bit of grassiness, but persistent enough for fruit to linger somewhere in the throat and memory well into the night. Oh and this is almost certainly a Bushmills. 91 pts
