So much whisky, so little time | Singapore | Tasting Notes

Tomatin 19 yo 1977 / 1996 Glenhaven 46%

A real surprise – bursting fruit, the sort you’d think to expect from 1976 so juicy yellow and red hues, round and glistening in fruit baskets in the sun, begging to be squeezed into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Warm peach and osmanthus. Green sap keeps the fruit bounded within suggestions of angelica and galbanum. Even at 46% its shows good oily weight though it does tend towards grassiness after a while. An easy one to finish off. 88 pts
