Longmorn 30 yo 1964 / 1995 Signatory #51 53.2%

Going a little further back into the 60s this one shows a clean earthiness, almost medicinal. A profile that brings to mind a whole era of old whisky rather than any one distillery. We have cold machine rooms, straw strewn floors and singer oil. Slices of old ginger, mushy forgotten pears and discarded grapefuit rinds. Camphor, patchouli leaf and wood spice, but not a touch of mustiness, dark fruit for sure though more fruit is wanted I think. 88 pts
