These old miniatures are not always great but always entertaining. Fry oil, a green bite sort of like oxalic acid and celery, lemongrass tea, mastic and thin clear varnish on little camphor wood trinket boxes. And a very raw green ruh khus, that is, green vetiver. I have a little vial that’s great to sniff at. Much weightier on the tongue though, with acidic green fruit left to shrivel on counters. Unique if not the best. 84 pts

This is one of those awkwardly floral ones. Verging on old mouldy potpourri. Dried violets and lavender sprigs. That said it stays far from mustier aspects these florals can approach, here more aqueous. Orange oil. Poorly put together sorry. On the tongue it’s just biting white pepper and liquefied mustard gas. Oh it burns! This will melt lead. The only good news is the florals are gone but so are my taste-buds. A war crime. 0 pts
