So much whisky, so little time | Singapore | Tasting Notes

Clynelish 12 yo for Whiskyteca Edward & Edward long cap 56.9% vs Clynelish 12 yo for Whiskyteca Edward & Edward bicolour 56.9%

A lazy sunday afternoon revisit of:

Clynelish 12 yo for Whiskyteca Edward & Edward long cap 56.9%

As austere and phenolic as ever. Cold air, dried heather, tree moss, brittle resins and pure deep rooted coal seams newly opened and black as night. 93 pts

Clynelish 12 yo for Whiskyteca Edward & Edward bicolour 56.9%

Somewhat more workshop than gallons of wax this time, still – old wax pots, old lubricants, oiled things and damp hemp cloth, sooty and gritty. 92 pts
