Not a fan of this sort of floral whisky and indeed it is a little dusty, reminiscent of dried purple flowers in an expensive potpourri bowl. Some aromatic brown leaves and twigs, sprayed with liquified sour candy and brown sugar. Since when did flowers find their way into Glen Ord. To be fair this is just as likely someone else’s cup of flowers. There is a mildly spiced side to it as well with some peppercorns, hot ginger. This dried flower note is just stale to me. 83 pts
