Rosebank 1991 / 2009 Gordon & Macphail #2119/2120/2121 55.3%

Simple, fresh and clean. What more do we need. Soft cream, white sugar, butter on rye bread, plain malt, lemon rind, lemon curd. Cut parsley. The line goes whisky is distilled sunshine, in this case it does strike a chord. 86 pts

Rosebank 21 yo 1989 / 2010 Lombard for Three Rivers #866 58.1%

Still in similar lightbodied territories but this one wanders through dried leaves and brown grass. With bouquet garni, angelica root, white ginseng and peppermint in the pot making a clean earth and slightly hot but zesty brew of a Rosebank. 88 pts
