Firm and supple, also confectionary allusions to sponge cake, glaced red fruit and tablespoons of cinnamon and spices. A pinch of black pepper, grass stained leather gloves and barley candy. Rather simple and approachable though there’s not much to talk about. On the tongue its slightly raw and spicy hot with some obvious alcohol, turns greener with a herbal grassiness to the finish. All in all sometimes a simple drink on the rocks is called for. 83 pts
